| Christy became a public speaker through a rather circuitous route. She graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a BS in Speech Communications and Political Science.
After college, she promptly fell into an entry-level job in the Interior Design industry in Palm Desert, California. After 4 years of working as an Assistant Designer and Source Librarian for Gay Young Designs, Christy opened her own Design Studio. She ran her business profitably for 4 years in Palm Desert, then moved the operation to Scottsdale, Arizona.
At this point, Christy deemed herself ready for a sabbatical, so she took on the challenge of creating the curriculum for and teaching American English and Culture to High School students in Debrecen, Hungary.
After completing her year abroad, Christy returned to Scottsdale, went to work for the oldest, most reputable Design firm in Arizona, EST, EST, and resumed her Design career. |
